Owen King

Owen started his teaching career after finishing university and has been teaching in Spain for the past six years. In 2014, he took over as the coordinator of the Spainwise TEFL Jobs Fair in Cordoba while also running the Helpdesk, helping teachers to find jobs in Spain and giving advice on living and working here. He is Team Leader at Blue Door Language School in Cordoba and an inspector for Trinity College London’s Quality Assurance Programme. Owen has completed the Trinity Licentiate Diploma in TESOL (DipTESOL) and has been a speaker at regional and national TEFL conferences, and at the Spainwise national TEFL Jobs Fairs.

Spainwise Teacher Training & Recruitment

Spainwise Teacher Training & Recruitment spearheads initiatives to provide language school owners and teachers of English with safe spaces, both real and virtual, to explore and develop teaching careers in Spain. Among the Spainwise initiatives are face-to-face job fairs in different parts of Spain, teacher training opportunities, an online jobs board and an information website for teachers of English. Spainwise is also a teacher training centre (accredited by Trinity College London).
